ABOUT JUNE CLARK

President of Get There Media, June Clark's multifaceted career gives her a wide and comprehensive perspective on branding, traditional and digital marketing, promotion, and copywriting, as well as account and literary management, editorial consulting, and ghostwriting.

 

During her extensive career, major companies and their agencies retained June to develop multi-media promotional campaigns for companies such as Food Network, Hasbro, HBO, NBC, eBay and Kraft Foods. Many of these campaigns won PMA and Reggie Awards.

June started her career in the field of cable TV working at Showtime and Group W Cable, and as head of her own creative services agency, Concepts. She is the recipient of a Cable ACE/Emmy award.

 

After receiving her M.A. in Writing and Publishing from Emerson College, June entered the publishing industry as an author and literary agent. She developed and represented hundreds of projects at FinePrint Literary Management and appeared on panels at NYU's Summer Publishing Institute, Writer's Digest, BookExpo, ASJA, and many regional and local writers’ conferences. She is a charter member of the New York Writers Workshop, and the author of seven books and several plays, including Separation Anxiety (Next Stage Press). A monologue from the play is featured in One on One: The Best Women's Monologues for the 21st Century.

June devotes much of her time to helping aspiring writers hone their craft and develop impressive author platforms through personal branding, website and blog development, and social media strategies. For experts looking to write books that can inform and inspire, June advises and assists with the development of book proposals and manuscripts, hands on editing, and ghostwriting. Her clients hail from a wide range of fields and specialties: health, psychology, business, education, parenting, and culinary arts.
